SEPTEMBER 28, 2006 - ASSISTANT US ATTORNEY JUANITA FIELDEN'S AFIDAVIT

Assistant US Attorney Juanita Fielden was the federal prosecutor assigned to ICE's investigation of Heriberto Santillan Tabares. Attorneys for the familiy of Luis Padilla have accused her of turning a blind eye to an informant's crimes. Fielden denies any such allegation. This is her afidavit. A federal judge dismissed the civil suit brought against Fielden this fall.
